  • Ages: 7-18*
  • Type of Climbing: Bouldering and Top-roping
  • Progression: Levels 1, 2 and 3 (click read more and then additional information for further details on each level)

NICAS Climbing allows candidates to learn about safety, equipment, training, progression, and the many other positive aspects of becoming a climber. Combine this with life skills – trust, communication, teamwork, self-confidence, awareness, risk management and understanding limitations – and it quickly becomes clear why climbing is an amazing sport. A huge amount of learning and development takes place at the climbing wall.

With a nationally recognised syllabus to follow, certificates for achievement, and a structured pathway, children can keep progressing through the NICAS schemes while having a great time.

Please note: NICAS Development sessions - These sessions are for those who have already completed several terms with us and have been requested to move up by The Climbing Team.)

*can be started from 7 a term or two. Wild Climbers may benefit those who are less confident. We can also arrange a taster to see what class may be appropriate.

Please book the appropriate class. If the incorrect class is booked, you will be refunded. We accept cancellations up to two weeks before. For more information, please click read more and then additional information.
