Remote Diagnostics: New Opportunities for Innovators

Remote Diagnostics: New Opportunities for Innovators

Description

Remote Diagnostics: New Opportunities for Innovators

Aim: A key unmet need established throughout the pandemic is remote IVD testing capabilities. Alongside the YH AHSN we are hosting an industry event on 28th April 2022 to articulate these needs in relation to our clinical themes. We will present the most urgent remote diagnostic requirements in the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The Leeds IVD MIC and the YH AHSN will present an overview of the support they can offer, and our expert Health Economists will deliver interactive seminars on mapping the impact of new devices on patient outcomes, and capacity modelling. There will be advice sessions delivered by the NIHR, BIVDA, and the MHRA. Industry representatives will provide short overviews of their remote diagnostic innovation.

2021 UKCRC Registered CTU Network Annual Registration Update

2021 UKCRC Registered CTU Network Annual Registration Update

Description

A Registration Process has been established for CTUs responsible for coordinating multi-centre clinical trials and other well-designed studies. The UKCRC Registration process and membership is designed to help improve the quality and quantity of available expertise to carry out clinical trials in the UK and provides opportunities for professional development through peer-to-peer support, networking events, the creation of training and guidance materials and sharing learning and best practice.

Registered CTUs are invited to review their CTU application and notify the Network Secretariat of any key changes to their CTU. If there are no key changes to your Unit please proceed with the payment process.

The full fee for registration and network facilitation is £3400, this is made up of a component for registration and network maintenance (VAT liable) and fees to cover knowledge sharing meetings (VAT exempt).  Some CTUs have had problems paying the amount in one single transaction so we have given you the opportunity to pay in quantities of £480 & £500. Please ensure that you select the correct quantity.

The deadline for payments is 1pm on Monday 31st January 2022
