What is a transcript?
Your transcript is an official document, which lists the modules that you studied, the number of credits associated with each module (for modular programmes of study), and the marks that you achieved. It includes a record of whether you undertook a year in industry or period of study abroad, your course start and end dates, date of award and classification (if applicable).
Who can apply
This document is for former students. The order should be placed by the student. We are unable to accept requests from third parties or other students.
If you are a third party organisation and you would like us to verify a student's degree please apply for an Academic Verification instead.
If you are a current student applying for a transcript for your current course, please apply for a current student transcript instead.
Transcripts are not available for taught postgraduate students (e.g. MA or MSc) who left in or before July 1992. These students should apply for a former student statement instead.
Some transcripts are not available here
There are some cases when we are unable to issue transcripts. Please check the instructions before placing your order as you may have to contact another department.
How to apply
Transcripts are priced according to the start date of your course. Please find out how to apply before placing your order to avoid delays. Then click on "read more" at the bottom of the page to select the number of copies required.
If you need to order a transcript for more than one course
Please note that you will need to place two separate orders. For example, one for your undergraduate course (BA, BSc) and one for your taught postgraduate course (MA, MSc).
