Join colleagues from across Leeds University Business School for our annual Staff Festive Lunch at the Clayton Hotel Leeds.

Venue: Clayton Hotel, City Walk, Sweet Street, Leeds, LS11 9AT

12:00–17:00: Welcome drink, festive lunch and party games
17:00–19:30: DJ and open dance floor

The event is subsidised by LUBS. Tickets cost:

£10 for colleagues at Grades 7 and below

£20 for colleagues at Grades 8–10

Please use the relevant link below to book your place. When booking, you will be asked to confirm your grade and select your preferred main course.

The deadline for bookings, dietary requirements, and seating requests is 5pm on Friday 27 November 2026.

Festive lunch menu

The starter and dessert are vegan and gluten-free. Please select one of the following main courses when booking.

Starter

Roast tomato and basil soup (VG/GF)
Served with pesto and balsamic glaze

Main course

Classic

Chicken breast with sage and onion stuffing
Served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, pig in a blanket and rich roast gravy

Or

Vegan

Sweet potato and red onion marmalade seeded tart (VG/GF)
Served with tomato and basil sauce, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Dessert

Chocolate and orange torte (VG/GF)

Allergies and dietary requirements

If you have a food allergy or any dietary requirements that are not met by the menu above, please email the Faculty Project Team at LUBScomms@leeds.ac.uk after completing your booking. Please include your name and details of your requirements so that we can notify the hotel and arrange a suitable alternative.

Seating requests

If there are colleagues you would like to sit with, please email your seating request to LUBScomms@leeds.ac.uk. We will do our best to accommodate requests.

Cancellations and transfers

Please note that tickets are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, please contact the Faculty Project Team at LUBScomms@leeds.ac.uk to ask whether your place can be transferred to another colleague. Transfers cannot be guaranteed.
