Prospective Inquiry in Practice research training

Prospective Inquiry in Practice research training

Description

Join this three-day Prospective Inquiry in Practice (PIP) training programme and become part of a growing community of researchers and practitioners committed to creating meaningful real-world impact. Social science has the unique ability not only to understand the world but also to influence and shape positive change.
PIP promotes collaborative, impact-driven research by bringing academics and practitioners together to address real-world challenges through co-creation. The programme is built on four key principles:
  • Creating spaces for co-creation
  • Exploring real-world challenges
  • Imagining and designing alternative futures
  • Advancing intervention social science in practice
During the training, participants will explore the conceptual foundations of PIP, learn its methods and practical tools, and discover how to design and facilitate collaborative research projects that generate both academic insights and practical outcomes. The programme provides an opportunity to connect with the wider PIP community while developing the skills needed to deliver research that is relevant, innovative and impactful.
