NICAS Wild Climbers offers climbing skills for all ages 4 to 6/7. It's a fun, game-orientated programme that aims to introduce climbers safely into the indoor climbing environment, develop their awareness of climbing movements, improve their confidence, and create a grassroots pathway for additional climbing activities. NICAS Wild Climbers meets the 3 key learning areas of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), which is the precursor to Key Stage 1 and includes Communication, Physical Development, and Social & Emotional Development.

As part of the national curriculum - physical education in schools should provide an opportunity in KS2, KS3 and KS4 to partake in outdoor adventurous activities, so why not bring them climbing. This often allows pupils to try something completely new and offers great levels of personal challenge. During these sessions, the group has sole occupancy of the wall.
