We will head up from the university to Woodhouse Ridge through the woodland, appreciating the spring air, trees and flowers. We will head up the Meanwood Valley trail to Meanwood Park where we can stop for lunch and enjoy the park, woodland and streams. 

We will be meeting in front of the Leeds University Union building at 11:45am to allow us to leave on time at 12.00pm. We should return to campus by 4pm .

What you need to bring:

• Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers) and a change of footwear for after the walk. 
• Waterproof jacket and warm clothes.
• A change of footwear for after the walk and a bag for your muddy boots/shoes.
• Snacks and drink for during the walk.
• Money/card if you wish to purchase items from a cafe on the way or in Meanwood park. 

We have a limited amount of kit for hire which includes walking boots and waterproof jackets. The hire form will be released on the week of the walk.
