Black Female Academics' Network 2026: From Success to Legacy

BFAN Conference 2026 –A full-day internal and external event themed “From Success to Legacy,” taking place on Friday 19 June 2026 (8:00am–6:00pm) in the Maurice Keyworth Building. This organiser-focused version includes detailed notes for chairs, coordinators, and programme leads, drawing on feedback from 2025 attendees and aligning with 2026 development goals. The conference will celebrate Black female academic excellence and leadership, strengthen mentorship between senior and early-career academics, and prioritise wellbeing, psychological safety, and community care. It will also support reflection and goal-setting and extend engagement through the BFAN Circle online community.
