Please read the important information below before applying for a replacement certificate.
There should only be one original certificate, so a replacement certificate can only be requested if the original is not in your possession.
You can apply here if:
- your certificate is lost/damaged
- you have changed your name since the original was issued
- you did not receive the original, and a significant amount of time has passed.
If your award date was within the last 12 months, and you have not received your degree certificate, please email certificates@adm.leeds.ac.uk to report this.
Before you apply for a replacement certificate, please check that you no longer have the original as this new certificate will replace the original one.
If you do have your original certificate and just require copies, please apply for certified copies of degree certificate.
The replacement certificate will have exactly the same award information as your original and will be produced on current certificate paper. The degree certificate will include your name, programme of study, classification (if applicable) and award date. The certificate will not include your marks and modules. If this information is required a former student transcript may be more suitable.

A Replacement Degree Certificate can take up to 3 weeks to be produced and dispatched.
Guide to delivery options:
We require all deliveries to addresses outside of the UK to be sent by DHL so that this service can be tracked. If you do not choose this option, but you provide an overseas address, we will contact you by email, and this will delay the processing of your order.
UK = Royal Mail delivery to UK addresses (not tracked)
UK DHL = DHL courier delivery to UK addresses (tracked)
INT DHL = DHL courier delivery to addresses outside the UK (tracked)
