If you are a student who has graduated from the University of Leeds you can request certified copies of your degree certificate.

Detailed Description

You will only be able to apply for this service after you have received your original degree certificate.

You must provide the University with a copy of your certificate, which will be stamped and signed to certify that it is a true copy of the original.  This can be sent by email to certificates@adm.leeds.ac.uk. 

 

Please read the information below before applying for certified copies of your degree certificate:

• You must be in posession of the original certificate before you can apply for a certified copy.
• If you do not have your original certificate and require a replacement, please apply for a replacement degree certificate.
• This service is only for your certificate and we cannot certify transcripts. If you require a copy of your transcript,  please apply for a transcript.
• The University does not hold copies of former student certificates, so you will need to email, or send a photocopy, of your certificate. The University will stamp and sign this to certify that your copy is a true copy of the original.
• The application for Certified Copies of the Degree Certificate and payment needs to be made online. You will need to email a copy of your certificate within 14 days of your online application. If the University does not receive the photocopy of your certificate within 14 days, your request will be cancelled and refunded.
• Please email a scan/photocopy of your original certificate to certificates@adm.leeds.ac.uk
• Certified copies of your degree certificate will take up to 10 working days to be produced and dispatched once we receive your email containing the copy. 
• If you need us to send your certified copy by DHL, please see DHL in the related product section. Please note that DHL must be purchased at the same time as your certified copies.
