Get Out Get Active Walks

Join us for Get Out, Get Active – a fantastic way to explore the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire and beyond!

Our student activators lead weekly walking trips to stunning locations like the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Coast, the Lake District, and the Peak District. Whether you prefer a slower, scenic walk or a more challenging route, we’ve got something for everyone. The only cost is the transport hire (which is included in your ticket), and the trip is a great opportunity to get active, meet new people, and boost your wellbeing.

Walk with us every Saturday and experience the great outdoors while having fun and making friends!

Terms and conditions:

• Get Out Get Active walking trips are open to University of Leeds students and staff ONLY. Please sign up to the trip with your univerity email address. 
• You must be at least 17 years of age to attend this trip.
• When booking a place for this event, the named participant is making a commitment to attend the event, to travel to and from the destination on the organised coach provided and to remain with the group and leaders at all times during the guided walk.
• Please note that any inappropriate behavior or failure to follow instructions provided by the trip leaders will not be tolerated and will result in appropriate action.  
• If a participant can no longer attend after payment, regardless of the reason (including illness, injury, or emergencies), a refund will only be issued if the participant provides more than 5 days’ notice. The refund deadline is 12:00am (midnight) on the Sunday before the scheduled walk. To request a refund, please email getoutgetactive@leeds.ac.uk.
• Ticket transfers or swapping of tickets are not permitted due to health and safety requirements. Only individuals whose names appear on the official register will be allowed to join the walk. Trip leaders reserve the right to turn away anyone not listed on the register. 
• Impersonating a registered participant or attending under another person’s booking is strictly not allowed. For health and safety reasons, we must know exactly who is attending each trip.
