Get Out Get Active WalksJoin us for Get Out, Get Active – a fantastic way to explore the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire and beyond! Our student activators lead weekly walking trips to stunning locations like the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Coast, the Lake District, and the Peak District. Whether you prefer a slower, scenic walk or a more challenging route, we’ve got something for everyone. The only cost is the transport hire (which is included in your ticket), and the trip is a great opportunity to get active, meet new people, and boost your wellbeing. Walk with us every Saturday and experience the great outdoors while having fun and making friends! We also have a free GOGA social run club every Tuesday and Thursday around campus. Get Out Get Active WalksGOGA Walking Trip - Flamborough, Yorkshire CoastDescriptionGet Out, Get Active Walking Trip - Flamborough, Yorkshire Coast Join us on this guided walk to explore the beautiful scenery around the Yorkshire Coast at Flamborough Head. We will be following the coastal path so you will have sea views most of the way. A popular spot for wildlife spotters - this is known for a wide range of sea birds and sea life from puffins and seals to dolphins off the coast. Saturday 6th June, 08:00am - 18:00pm This walk is a circular route which will take you along the cliffs and down to the various beautiful bays in the local area. We will then follow it around the coast past the point at Flamborough head before heading back to the village of Flamborough. The trip will offer two guided walking options. There will be a shorter walk for those wanting to experience the views, and a longer walk for those looking to explore further in this beautiful setting.
GOGA Walking Trip - Keswick, Lake DistrictDescriptionGet Out, Get Active Walking Trip - Keswick, Lake District Keswick is an ancient market town in the north of the Lake District National Park, on the shores of Derwentwater. Keswick is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, mountains and lakes. This walkers’ paradise is surrounded by picturesque valleys as well as 1,200 acres of crystal-clear water and a bustling town to enjoy. Saturday 30th May 2026: 08:00-18:30
