A multi-day in-person workshop, aimed at developing natural language processing skills, and promoting networking among researchers and practitioners.

Detailed Description

This four-day intensive workshop provides an optional Python programming introduction, hands-on training in web scraping,

natural language processing (NLP), and the use of generative AI using state-of-the-art Python tools. By the end of this course, you will be able to: identify an online data source, scrape it ethically, perform natural language processing tasks, and integrate large language models to generate workable insights.

 

The workshop will run from Monday 9^th – Thursday 12^th of June, in-person, at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. It includes food and beverages, an informal networking event, and a guest speaker from the University of Warwick. We look forward to seeing you there!
