Deposit for a replacement iPhone purchased by the university as part of the MBChB’s mobile learning and assessment programme.
Students must pay a deposit for a replacement device if –
- They have lost their iPhone and wish to receive a replacement device.
- They have had their iPhone stolen and wish to receive a replacement device.
Students do not have to pay a deposit for a replacement device if –
- Their iPhone has developed a mechanical fault.
- Their iPhone has a cracked or broken screen.
- Their iPhone has become water damaged.
Once the replacement device is returned at the end of a student’s period of study (or if a student returns the phone early) the deposit will be refunded. To this end we ask that students keep hold of their receipt.
