Join us for our first walking trip in Scotland! We will be walking from Burnmouth (Scotland) to Berwick-upon-Tweed (England).

Detailed Description

Burnmouth is a small fishing village located in Scotland. It is the first village in Scotland after crossing the border. We will be walking from Burnmouth to Berwick-upon-Tweed, the northernmost town in England.

The walking route will be along the Berwickshire coastal path and will be around 6km in length. We will stop regularly to appreciate the beautiful views along the way.

After exploring the coastal path, you will have some free time in Berwick-upon-Tweed to explore the sandy beaches as well as the many shops, cafes and pubs on offer.

What you need to bring:
Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). We also recommend you bring:

- Waterproof jacket and warm clothes

- Food and drink for during the walk

- Money to purchase items in the town

You must be at least 17 years of age to attend this trip.

When booking a place for this event, the named participant is making a commitment to attend the event. If after payment a participant cannot attend for any reason, including illness, injury and emergencies, the participant will not be entitled to a refund. The event organiser will be as accommodating as possible if the participant cannot attend and will deal with cases on an individual basis up to one week before the event. We advise that in the event of the named candidate not being able to attend that they find a replacement to take their position on the course and notify the event organiser at least one week before the date of the event. No changes can be made within one week of the event.
