Join us for a walking trip to Ambleside, located in the picturesque Lake District National Park. Ambleside sits at the northern point of Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England.

Detailed Description

Ambleside is based in the world-famous Lake District, home to lovely landscapes, rolling hills and beautiful views.

The trip will offer two walking options with varying distances. There will be a shorter walk for those wanting to experience the place and a longer walk for those looking to explore some of the walking options in this beautiful setting. Both walks will take you up and away from the lake and into the surrounding countryside.

After exploring the varied terrain, we will lead you back to Ambleside where you will have some free time to explore some of the shops and cafes that the Cumbrian town has to offer. Please note that the length of time to explore Ambleside will depend on which route option you pick.

What you need to bring:
Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). We also recommend you bring:

- Waterproof jacket and warm clothes

- Food and drink for during the walk

- Money to purchase items in the town

Please Note

You must be at least 17 years of age to attend this trip.

When booking a place for this event, the named participant is making a commitment to attend the event. If after payment a participant cannot attend for any reason, including illness, injury and emergencies, the participant will not be entitled to a refund. The event organiser will be as accommodating as possible if the participant cannot attend and will deal with cases on an individual basis up to one week before the event. We advise that in the event of the named candidate not being able to attend that they find a replacement to take their position on the course and notify the event organiser at least one week before the date of the event. No changes can be made within one week of the event.
