The long walk will start from Robin Hood’s Bay while the short walk will start a little closer to Whitby - both walks will be along the beautiful Yorkshire coast. We will pause regularly to appreciate the views along the route.We will finish the trip off with some time in Whitby where you can explore the shops and cafes in this ancient harbour town If you wish you can purchase traditional fish and chips so we suggest bringing cards or money for a tasty meal, snack or hot drink before departing back for Leeds. We will travel via coach from the Parkinson Steps. This is included in the ticket cost.
What you need to bring:
Please come in suitable footwear for very muddy, uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). You will also need
Food/Packed Lunch and a water bottle for during the walk- Money/Card if you wish to purchase items in the town
* This route is likely to be very muddy at this time of year so good shoes are a must! Walking boots are highly recommended.

You must be at least 17 years of age to attend this trip.
When booking a place for this event, the named participant is making a commitment to attend the event and to travel to and from the destination on the organised coach provided.
If after payment a participant cannot attend for any reason, including illness, injury and emergencies, the participant will not be entitled to a refund. The event organiser will be as accommodating as possible if the participant cannot attend, and will deal with cases on an individual basis up to one week before the event. We advise that in the event of the named candidate not being able to attend that they find a replacement to take their position and notify the event organiser at least one week before the date of the event. No changes can be made within one week of the event.
