Detailed Description

Set high on the side of Nidderdale in North Yorkshire, Brimham Rocks provides an amazing outdoor experience for those looking for the freedom to explore. From the spectacular rocks to the panoramic views, Brimham has enchanted visitors for hundreds of years with its unique and magical atmosphere. Examples of the wonderful natural rock formations include the Sphinx, the Watchdog, the Camel, the Turtle and the Dancing Bear.

You will have some free time to explore Brimham Rocks before setting off for a walk to Pateley Bridge. There will be two walking route options- a shorter route for people who wish to spend more time in Pateley Bridge and a longer walk for those wishing to explore further.  Please note that the length of time to explore Pateley Bridge will depend on which route option you pick.

Pateley Bridge is a small market town home to the oldest sweet shop in England! It is full of cafes, shops and pubs.

What you need to bring:

Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). We also recommend you bring:

- Waterproof jacket

- Food and drink for during the walk

- Money to purchase items

 
Please Note

You must be at least 17 years of age to attend this trip.

When booking a place for this event, the named participant is making a commitment to attend the event. If after payment a participant cannot attend for any reason, including illness, injury and emergencies, the participant will not be entitled to a refund. The event organiser will be as accommodating as possible if the participant cannot attend and will deal with cases on an individual basis up to one week before the event. We advise that in the event of the named candidate not being able to attend that they find a replacement to take their position on the course and notify the event organiser at least one week before the date of the event. No changes can be made within one week of the event.
