Join us for a walking trip in Betws-y-Coed, a village in the Conwy Valley in Wales.
Detailed Description
Betws-y-Coed is a picturesque village that lies in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Snowdonia boasts the highest mountain in England and Wales and the largest natural lake in Wales.
The circular walking route begins and ends in Betws-y-Coed and takes in Llyn Elsi, a scenic mountain lake in Snowdonia National Park. Interesting fact: Lly Elsi provides the water for the village.
The walk will be around 6km in length and we will stop regularly to appreciate the beautiful views and landscapes along the way.
After exploring the varied terrain, you will have some free time in Betws-y-Coed to explore the many shops, cafes and pubs on offer.

What you need to bring:
Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). We also recommend you bring:
- Waterproof jacket and warm clothes
- Food and drink for during the walk
- Money to purchase items in the village

You must be at least 17 years of age to attend this trip.
When booking a place for this event, the named participant is making a commitment to attend the event. If after payment a participant cannot attend for any reason, including illness, injury and emergencies, the participant will not be entitled to a refund. The event organiser will be as accommodating as possible if the participant cannot attend and will deal with cases on an individual basis up to one week before the event. We advise that in the event of the named candidate not being able to attend that they find a replacement to take their position on the course and notify the event organiser at least one week before the date of the event. No changes can be made within one week of the event.
