Objectives

To introduce attendees to more advanced capabilities within R, including the RStudio integrated development environment, including:
1) IF statements and WHILE/FOR loops;
2) Mark down and reporting;
3) Building interactive web apps with Shiny;
4) Parallelisation

Who is this course suitable for?

R is one of the most popular and fastest-growing programming languages in the modern world. It is also the most popular data mining tool in business and academia. One of the key strengths of R is its great versatility for data manipulation, exploration and testing, not to mention its ability to produce publication-ready graphics. This course is for those who already have some experience of using R (e.g. have attended Hodgett, Choicharoon and Konstantinidis’s “Introduction to R” training, or completed Data Camp’s online module in R).
